Bayern Munich striker Serge Gnabry has left quarantine after a false positive for COVID-19 which caused him to miss the Champions League match against Atletico Madrid and the Bundesliga match against Eintracht.
According to Bayern, Gnabry tested positive on Tuesday, the day before the match against Atletico, and then underwent several tests between Wednesday and Saturday and all were negative.
In addition, on Saturday and Sunday he was tested for antibodies, which were also negative.
In view of this, the Munich Health Office has come to the conclusion that the first test was a false positive and has released Gnabry from quarantine.
Thus Gnabry is once again at the disposal of coach Hansi Flick and will travel with Bayern for Tuesday's Champions League match against Lokomotiv Moscow.
