Olivier Giroud's future could become clearer in the next few days. The Frenchman, without the expected minutes at Chelsea, wants to leave London, and the latest reports indicated that the striker was going to ask the club for a transfer. Milan have been keeping a very close eye on the France international's situation for days and it seems that his arrival at San Siro is closer than ever.
According to Fabrizio Romano, an Italian journalist specialising in the transfer market, the Italian club have already agreed a deal for Giroud. It would consist of a two-season contract with a salary per season that is still unknown. Despite this, it seems that the Frenchman has accepted the offer from the seven-time European champions.
With the personal agreement between Milan and the player done, all that remains is for Chelsea to give the green light. The Italian side are offering a total of two million euros for the player, a total that could be enough for the London side to let Giroud leave.
