Giresse, new manager of Kosovo

The Kosovo national team has a new man in charge. After Bernard Challandes was relieved of his duties last November, the Federation has now appointed Alain Giresse. 

"I want to build a proper team, a group that fights in every game, in the easy ones and the difficult ones" said the French coach, who was presented this Wednesday. 

Agim Ademi, president of the Federation of Kosova, assured that up to 40 coaches applied for the job of running the national team. 

Giresse has signed a contract until November 2023. His first tests will be a couple of friendly matches against Switzerland and Burkina Faso.
