Getafe defender Juan Iglesias on Tuesday defended team-mate Mason Greenwood, who was sent off with a straight red card against Rayo Vallecano, and said that if "someone" finds a video of the British striker saying "f*ck you", he will invite him for a "dinner".
The Spanish defender, a substitute in Tuesday's 2-0 defeat, posted a challenge on the social network 'X' to counter the version given in the report by referee Jorge Vazquez Figueroa about the sending off of the English player.
According to the referee, Greenwood was sent off for saying "f*ck you" when he did not call a possible foul by a Rayo Vallecano defender on the Getafe player. However, at a press conference, his coach, Jose Bordalas, later gave a different version and claimed that his player said "f*ck sake".

The Getafe coach made it clear that Greenwood is "a good guy" and that at no point did he "insult anyone". The versions of both sides differed and one of the Getafe players came to the defence of his team-mate.
"If anyone can find me a video of him saying 'f*ck you', I'll treat you to a mariscada - a seafood dinner- ," wrote Juan Iglesias.
