Get to know the Chinese Super League teams and their stars

Hebei China Fortune
Gervinho, Lavezzi, M'Bia, Gulum and Kakuta are just some of Hebei Fortune's stars, one of the teams that has invested the most money on transfers. Hebei recently climbed up the Super League and is hoping to win the title.
Beijing Guoan
With more than 50 years history, the team is led by Italian head coach Zaccheroni. Beijing Guoan rely on their biggest star Zaccheroni and also; Renato Augusto, Ralf and Kleber.
Changchun Yatai
This team went to the top in 2006 and 2007 and won their first and only title. The squad doesn't only consist of Chinese and international footballers, but also other Asian national footballers. The footballers that stand-out the most on the team are; Marcelo Martins, Julien Gorius and Darko Matic.
Chongqing Lifan
This team is a result of the fusion of Chongqing Hongyan and Chongking Lifan in 1995. In 2000, they won their only Chinese title in the Copa China. Their team has several international footballers, but of less quality in comparison to other teams in the league, including; Milovic, Gigliotti, Fernandinho and Jael.
Guangzhou Evergrande
Evergrande made a radical change after arriving in the Chinese Super League in 2010. They are the current Super League champions and this is thanks to Luis Filipe Scolari, Paulinho, Jackson Martínez, Alan and Goulart.
Guangzhou R&F
Another young team in the Liga China is Guangzhou R&F. Managed by Dragan Stojkovic, the best the team has come yet is when they were in fourth position in 2014. The most important player on the team is Renatinho.
Hangzhou Greentown
One of the most modest teams in the millionaire Chinese Super League is Hangzhou Greentown. Three of the biggest names on the squad are Anselmo Ramon, Gabionetta and Tim Cahill.
Henan Jianye
Henan Jianye have one of the most unpredictable and surprising squads in the CSL. In recent years they have ended in third and fourth position, however, it's predicted that this team will be going down in the league due to how competitive the teams have now become. The top players are; Ivo, Sow and Patiño
Jiangsu Suning
This team has definitely caused the most attention due to their transfers and transfer rumours this year. They may not be the favourites to win, but the stars Alex Teixeira, Jo, Ramires and Jorge Sammir will definitely not give up until the end.
Liaoning Whowin
Since 2009, the team has never been able to surpass 10th position in the league. The top three players are James Chamanga, Ibrahima Touré and Troisi.
Shandong Luneng
One of the least known teams in the league is Shandong Luneng. However, they continue to remain towards the top of the league and they are coached by Mano Menezes. The star players include; Gil, Jucilei and Diego Tardelli.
Shanghai Shenhua
Shanghai Shenhua's aim is to be in the top 5. They won La Liga in 2003 and are hoping that Demba Ba, Obafemi Martins and Freddy Guarín will be able to help them do it.
Shanghai SIPG
Shanhai SIPG are one of the best teams, with their own academy of players. Their most expensive transfers were Eriksson and Dario Conca, and they also rely on football stars Asamoah Gyan and Elkeson.
Shijiazhuang Ever Bright
This team averages at the middle of the Chinese table. Ever Bright hope to make the top with Mulenga, Diego Mauricio and Ruben Micael.
Tianjin Teda
Another not so well-known team in the Chinese Super League is Tianjin Teda. They hope to end in a safe position in the league table.
Yanbian Fude
Yanbian Fude have been slowly moving up in the league and they want to compete as much as possible this season. Their objective is to learn and improve as much as possible. Unfortunately the team has had several economic problems over the past few years.
