Former Liverpool captain, turned Rangers manager, Steven Gerrard, has not wasted any time on putting his mark on the team.
In his first match in charge on Friday, three of his summer signings were on the score sheet as they trounced Bury 6-0.
He must now turn his attention to Thursday's Europa League qualifying match against Macedonian team FK Shkupi.
The domestic league rivalry with Celtic will resume next month when the league starts.
Gerrard will still be looking to bring in some fresh faces for the coming season, and the 'Daily Mail' believe that his signings will be in the double figures by August.
However, the new manager has issued a warning for his players:
"The players have to be ready for the pressure and responsibility of being a Rangers player. If you can't handle it, then you're at the wrong place.
"It's difficult for me to ask for patience (with supporters). These fans, they deserve better and want better."
Rangers will be looking to successfully negotiate their way through the four Europa League group stages and Gerrard added: "It's going to be tough to do that, but that's what we're here for.
"We have to deal with Thursday first, though. If you don't approach it with the right attitude you'll face major problems.
"We can't disrespect any opposition. The players will have all the information about them, there can be no excuses."
Having come from Liverpool's academy set-up, Gerrard has shown no reservations about bringing young talent into his team:
"I sat the young lads down on day one and told them they would come over to Spain and it was down to them to mix it with the senior players and let them know you're here to challenge them," he said.
"If you're good enough, you're old enough."
