Brendan Rodgers and his players secured their seventh consecutive Scottish Premiership title this campaign and are gunning for the domestic treble when they face Motherwell at Hampden Park next Saturday in the Scottish Cup final.
However, after his appointment at Rangers was confirmed for next season, Gerrard has spoken out about his hopes of ending Celtic's dominace.
He told 'Sky Sports': "Celtic have had it their own way for far too long.
"This is a massive opportunity for myself and Gary McAllister to go to a huge football club and try to improve things in Glasgow. We will give it our best."
Gerrard made the move to Rangers after spending two years coaching Liverpool's Under-18s.
