Germany's expects the worst: up to 18 months of matches without an audience!

As clubs begin to think about a return to competition, news continues to emerge confirming that football will be a different sport when the coronavirus pandemic is under control.
While the vast majority of fans are aware that football will be behind closed doors for a few months, it seems that time could pass from months to just over a year.
According to Gerald Haug, president of the German Academy of Sciences and a leading climatologist, crowded events such as football matches could be held without an audience for up to 18 months.
"We have to wait, there may be more optimistic evaluations, but this situation can be extended for a year and a half without a problem," he explained in statements collected by 'ARD'.
This is not a random opinion, but the reference character for Germany when trying to get out of the health crisis as soon as possible.
Although the German championship could be the first of the important ones to return, it is clear that the country has the health of its citizens very much in mind and this could be played behind closed doors for a long time. Let the other leagues take note.
