The former Bayern Munich stopper believes that Germany's recent poor results aren't the manager's fault, just like previous victories weren't solely down to him.
Khan also responded to his former Bayern and 'Die Mannschaft' team mate Michael Ballack after the former midfielder commented, before the game, that Loew should not have continued in his post after the failure of the World Cup.
In response to these comments, after the 3-0 loss to the Netherlands, Kahn spoke to 'ZDF', saying: ''I don't think his words help, now its very easy to come out and criticise. After a loss too much is said.''
''For me it is important that we keep developing the way we play and how we get those ideas across to the team in the future. But the players, especially the World Cup winners, have to step up,'' said the German legend.
