Paul Pogba will not remain at Manchester United for next season. The 29-year-old midfielder decided not to renew his contract with the English club and is now close to agreeing a return to Juventus.
Indeed, former Red Devils player Gary Neville analysed the move and criticised the French international's performance during his time in Manchester.
"I don't think he has performed well in the last six years. I also don't think the club has performed well with him, or handled him well. There is no winner. A player leaves after six years, with the money that was spent and very little has been earned," the former defender said, in a TikTok broadcast.
Finally, Neville lamented another rift between Manchester United and the Frenchman: "It all leaves a bad taste in the mouth because it's the second time it's happened. It is worth remembering that Pogba had already left the English club on a free transfer back in the 2012-13 season. History repeated itself once again.
