West Brom fans will not forget the match against Bristol City and not because of the victory. Two people had to be attended to in the stands with medical problems.
The first of these occurred before the start of the match which meant the game was delayed for 15 minutes so that that person could be treated to.
What seemed like it was going to be the only moment of concern in the game was just the first of more incidents. In the first half, Bristol City's Nathan Baker had to go off injured on a stretcher and that meant there were 10 minutes of added time.
Then, at half-time with the hosts 2-0 up, another person required medical attention. This time it was in the visiting section. This lead to a further delay of 15 minutes.
Neither of the clubs have yet to give an update on the condition of their supporters although the fact the game was completed was a good sign. The Baggies won the contest 3-0.
