The saga surrounding Gabriel Pires and his departure from Spanish side Leganés could come to an end in the coming days. Benfica has put an offer on the table that has fulfilled the expectations of 'Los Pepineros'.
According to 'A Bola', the offer amounts to around eight million euros, which Leganés are likely to accept before the close of the window on August 31st.
Several days ago, the Portuguese club itself stalled negotiations with Leganés and the player due to the slow progress. Today, however, both sides seem to be satisfied.
As well as Benfica, the Brazilian has been linked with Celta Vigo and Real Betis this summer.
