Gabriel Jesus is on the brink of becoming an Arsenal player. The Brazilian has spent recent days in the headlines which have placed him ever closer to a move to the Emirates. Now, all that remains is for his move to be made official. Fabrizio Romano, via his Twitter page, reported that the player arrived in London on Tuesday morning to complete his transfer.
The striker underwent his medical, which was the final piece of the puzzle in making the move to The Gunners a done deal. He has agreed to stay at the club until 2027 and his former club, Manchester City, will receive 45 million pounds for his sale. This money will be instantly used to fund another incoming for the Sky Blues this window, in the form of Leeds centremidfielder, Kalvin Phillips. He too has a price tag of 45 million pounds.
The aforementioned source assures that an official statement is imminent as the contracts are "already completed". Following his medical, Arsenal's official social media pages will be followed closely to get the first view of their statement announcing their new player.
Gabriel Jesus has a host of Premier League experience and will arrive at Arsenal as a key player. Arteta will most likely place the Brazlian in his starting eleven from the beginning, but Jesus will not be allowed to get complacent, as he will have to compete with the other high quality members of the Arsenal squad.
