The 2019 Copa America will begin in Sao Paulo on Friday 14th June with the opening game between hosts Brazil and Bolivia who are hoping to cause an upset.
During the first 11 days of the competition, the 12 teams will participate in the group phase. A total of 18 games will be played after which the top two teams from each of the three groups plus the two best thirds will qualify for the quarter-finals.
The quarters will be played on the 28th and 29th June while the semi-finals will take place on the 2nd and 3rd July.
On Sunday 7th July, at the Maracana stadium, the two winners of the semi-finals will do battle in the Copa America final.
In total, 26 matches will take place across six different venues to determine the winner of the Copa America. Brazil, Bolivia, Venezuela, Peru, Argentina, Colombia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Ecuador, Chile and the invited guests Qatar and Japan, will take part.
