"To play for Real Madrid is a dream". When that phrase from the French midfielder was still being digested by the world of football, the footballer has come up with other phrases which differ greatly.
"It's one of the best teams in the world, it's very beautiful to see them play because you always learn from them. They have great players and abovel all, one extraordinary one (Messi), who is well above the rest," the Man Utd player said about Barca in comments to 'Eurosport'.
Although his side have to face Valverde's side in the Champions League quarter-finals, Pogba was not short of praise for the Catalan side and seemed to make two things clear: he is keen to leave England despite the fact things are going well for him now under Solskjaer and that he has no preference between Real Madrid and Barcelona with respect to who he would like to play for.
"Playing against them is going to be special because they have knocked us out previously and now we are facing each other again, but it's an opportunity to enjoy because the atmosphere is the appropiate one," he commented on the quarter-final tie.
With Mino Raiola as his agent and leaving Old Trafford this summer an option, it is not absurd to think that this could be part of a strategy so that Pogba, with his public comments, gets a call from two of the richest clubs in the world.
