There could be chaos in Ligue 1. The French league decided to terminate their season due to the coronavirus crisis. However, many said that that decision was made in haste and now the situation has improved, it seems like the Government want to make a U-turn.
Le Graet. the French FA head (FFF), told 'L'Equipe' that Macron's wish is for the season to get going again: "He is aware of what is happening in the world of football. He wants football to return quickly and with spectators if possible."
"He is going to consult with the medical experts on the current situation. They are hopeful that the first games can be with fans," Le Graet added.
It remains to be seen whether Ligue 1 returns or not. If not, there could be 22 teams after relegation was thrown out by the French courts.
