Frattesi dedicates Inter winner to late grandmother

Thomas Muller thought he had sealed a draw for Bayern Munich after cancelling out Lautaro Martinez's opener with an 85th-minute header, but Davide Frattesi restored Inter's lead just three minutes later to give them the advantage in the quarter-final tie of the Champions League.
The 'Nerazzurri' broke on the counter with Carlos Augusto, who picked out Frattesi, and the Italian midfielder made no mistake as he directed the ball into the back of the net. The goal was not only important to boost Inter's bid to reach the semi-finals, but also on a personal level for Frattesi.
The 25-year-old was visibly emotional after scoring the winner, revealing after the game that it was due to the recent passing of his grandmother. “I know you pulled some strings up there," Frattesi wrote on his social media platforms after the match, dedicating his goal to his 'nonna'.
"I always thought nothing and no one could shake me. But when I was faced with this, I felt lost," Frattesi added as he spoke to 'Sky Sports' post-match. "It was tough, I wasn’t used to seeing her like that. I think tonight she had a hand in it, for sure she shouted something down to me from above."
