FT: France 0-0 Portugal!!! All over in Paris and that's a fair score. Portugal edged a cagy first half, France were better in a more lively second period, but Portugal held firm in defence. Pepe had a goal disallowed for offside and Ronaldo nearly won it for Portugal in stoppage time while France had opportunities through Giroud, Mbappe and a Pogba who was very good after the interval. Joao Felix has come the closest for Portugal while Giroud could have scored for France just before the interval. Giroud is playing with a bandage on his head after being caught by Ruben Dias' elbow, something which was only punished with a yellow. Back for more in a bit!

Semedo is caught now by Kante. Quite a few needless fouls in this one. Got an edge to it this one.

These two met at this same ground back in the Euro 2016 final and Eder's extra time goal won it for Portugal. The two will also meet at the Euros next summer as they are in the same group.
