Stephen McManus and Stephen Pearson will show off their charitable side on Thursday, May 20 when they participated in 'Macmillan Cancer Support's Longest Day Golf Challenge' to raise money in the memory of a family friend of the former Hoops captain McManus.
The club professional at Linlithgow Golf Club, Kenny Monaghan, who will hold the event, lost his mother to cancer five years ago.
The Motherwell duo will attempt to play four founds of golf in one day between Monaghan's home course and Kindsfield Golf Club.
McManus told reporters, "We're taking part in the golf event that they do, which is four rounds in one day, so it's going to be a hard shift but we're looking forward to raising as much as we can.
"I think we're looking at trying to raise around the £10,000 mark, which would be great."
