The draw
Chelsea v Dynamo Kiev
Eintracht Frankfurt v Inter Milan
Dynamo Zagreb v Benfica
Napoli v Salzburg
Valencia v Krasnodar
Sevilla v Slavia Prague
Arsenal v Rennes
Zenit St Petersburg v Villarreal
Chelsea will play their first leg at home before travelling to Ukraine for the return fixture. However, despite being drawn as the home team for the first leg, Arsenal find themselves playing away first due to UEFA's 'city clash' rule, as otherwise Arsenal and Chelsea would be playing their home legs in London on the same day. This has infuriated Gunners fans, many of whom had already bought plane and train tickets for the away leg's original date.
In terms of opponents, neither Chelsea nor Arsenal will be overly concerned with their draws, with neither Dynamo Kiev nor Rennes among the stronger sides left in the competition. They will be particularly pleased to have avoided the two Italian giants - with Inter Milan drawn against Frankfurt and Napoli facing Salzburg. Zenit v Villarreal promises to be the tie of the round, with two strong sides meeting head-on.
