Lucas Torreira (Arsenal)
The 22-year-old joined the 'Gunners' in July and fans seemed excited by his arrival. With many of Arsenal's issues spanning from the defensive midfield positions last season, it looks as if Unai Emery has added something different to the position. Uruguay international Torreira, who bowed out at the hands of eventual winners France, is a determined and well-disciplined character who excells at interceptions and reading the game, alongside his ability to cover a lot of ground on the pitch, akin to that of Chelsea's N'Golo Kante and Manchester City's Fernandinho.
Jorginho (Chelsea)
New £50m signing Jorginho appeared to be on his way to the Etihad to join Pep Guardiola's side, though Maurizio Sarri stepped in at the last minute to convince the player to follow him to Chelsea. Jorginho, 26, is "very quick in the mind" according to Sarri, and can distribute the ball quickly and effectively from the midfield.
Jean-Michael Seri (Fulham)
Slavisa Jokanovic's side shocked a few people with this signing - Seri had been the subject of interest from Barcelona, Chelsea and Arsenal in previous transfer windows, yet chose to join up with the 'Whites' at Craven Cottage. Although the 25-year-old has struggled to replicate his form from the 2016-7 season with Nice which made him one of Europe's top prospects, Seri will add strength and poise to the Fulham midfield this season.
Felipe Anderson (West Ham)
A busy transfer window for West Ham has seen the arrival of some of Europe's top talents to the London Stadium, though none excited 'Hammers' fans as much as Brazilian winger Felipe Anderson. Signing for £36m from Lazio, Anderson possesses the typically-Brazilian characteristic of being an excellent and skillful dribbler and can play on either flank or in a central role.
Raul Jimenez (Wolves)
Despite their prolific Championship-winning campaign last season, Nuno Espiritu Santo's Wolves appeared to be lacking in striking options. That's where Jimenez will come in. The Mexican joins the club on loan from Benfica, and adds much-needed height and composure to the Wolves attack.
