Firmino set to leave Liverpool

The Reds announced on Friday their lists of retained and released players for next campaign. Liverpool reconfirmed the departures of Roberto Firmino, Naby Keita, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
All four players will be looking for a new destination in the next transfer window, although several have already joined their new club. Keita has signed for Werder Bremen while James Milner will play for the Seagulls next season.
The Brazilian striker has been targeted by several La Liga clubs such as Barcelona and Real Madrid. Both clubs wanted to secure his services but at the moment his future is uncertain.
Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp's side have offered renewals to Paul Glatzel, Jacob Poytress and Reece Trueman. The German manager has already made his first signing of the 2023/24 season. Alexis Mac Allister will strengthen the Anfield outfit's midfield.
