"If I had a wife like Figo's, I also wouldn't leave at night"

"Florentino told me to see if I would stay at home more like Figo; and I replied that if I had a woman like Figo's I would stay home too", the Brazilian revealed with laughter in an interview for 'El Transistor' of 'Onda Cero'.

The phrase became viral and became a recurring crutch to joke about the fractious character of the now president of Valladolid and Pablo Motos, presenter of 'El Hormiguero', did not hesitate to talk about the anecdote with the Portuguese and Helene Svendin.

"He already knew, because he had commented on it in the locker room. But I forgive Roni because he's always joking. What he doesn't know is that I used to leave home when my wife was asleep," joked the former Real Madrid player.

However, Luis Figo took the opportunity to praise his wife's values: "She's elegant, sensitive, beautiful, a great mother and most importantly, I think she's a very good person. The Swedish model replied: "She is a person who has made me feel that she is there for me".
