FIFA have informed Uruguay of the suspensions that have been handed out after the unsavoury scenes following the Ghana game. Gimenez and Muslera were the ones to receive the biggest punishment and they will miss the next four Uruguay matches. Cavani and Godin will both be suspended for one game. All of them will have to pay a fine as well. Uruguay have also been hit with a partial stadium closure for their next home fixture.
