Fernandinho extends Man City contract

Manchester City's Brazilian midfielder, Fernandinho, has extended his Man City contract until 2021.

The 34-year-old has extended his City contract for a further season and has been key for the Citizens this season as they sit 2nd in the league, still in the FA Cup, League Cup and Champions League.

The Brazilan signed for City in 2013-14 from Ukranian outfit Shakhtar Donetsk and has managed 214 appearances during his time in England. He has also scored 18 goals and got 15 assists.

Fernandinho has played 20 times so far this season, starting 19 and played all but 1 of his side's Champions League group games. During his time in England, he has also won the Premier League 3 times, the League Cup 4 times, the FA Cup once and the Community Shield once. Before he moved to England he won the Ukranian league 7 times, the Ukranian Cup 5 times, the Ukranian Super Cup 3 times and the UEFA Cup once.
