Fati out for three to five months

To remove or to stitch, that is the question. Barcelona has already decided with regards to the meniscus operation on one of it's biggest stars, Ansu Fati. 'Catráio Esports' reported that the operation has taken place with stitches, sidelining Fati for three to five months.

Shortly beforehand, 'El Golazo de GOL' caught footage of the player on crutches. He was visiting the Quirón Clinic and operated on by Ramón Cugat. A family member accompanied him to the procedure.

The pictures showed him on crutches, unable to walk with any sort of normality. He moved slowly with assistance.

It's a cruel blow for Fati, who has become a key part of Koeman's Barcelona side this season. He has started eight games, coming off the bench twice more. The injury was a torn meniscus.
