"Fans saying nonsense doesn't matter to me" - Yamal on 'El Classico' racist insults

Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal attended the Ballon d'Or gala in Paris on Monday, where he was crowned winner of the Kopa Trophy award at just 17 years of age.

During the week, the Spanish striker had made headlines for his great performance in the ‘Cules’ 4-0 win in ‘El Clasico’ and for the racist insults he received from some Real Madrid fans at the Santiago Bernabeu.

After the Ballon d'Or gala, the Barcelona gem was asked about the racist insults he received a few days ago at the home of Real Madrid, something the Spain international played down.

"Insults at the Bernabeu? I'm the one on the pitch, I'm only focused on the pitch. The fans saying nonsense doesn't matter to me," said Yamal.
