Danish newspaper 'Politiken' claims that the former Barcelona and Real Madrid star was sacked from his managerial position at Swansea City for "trying to benefit from transactions at the expense of the club" along with agent Bayram Tutumlu.
However, both Swansea and Laudrup have denied the claims.
Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins says that the Dane was sacked for "footballing reasons".
Laudrup himself told 'BBC Wales Sport': "I have never received any payment or commission related to any player transfer in any of the clubs I have coached. Never".
The Danish newspaper's article, which says that Swansea had wrote to the League Managers' Association regarding "a number of transactions and dealings with players about which the club has concerns".
Jenkinks denied any wrongdoing on Laudrup's part, saying: "There were discussions with the LMA but that was done in the context of negotiating a settlement and it should be taken in that light.
"As far as we are concerned that is the end of the matter and we agreed a settlement and we move on".
