Ex-Man United forward Martial agrees move to Mexican side Monterrey

Anthony Martial is one step away from starting a new professional stage in Mexico with Rayados de Monterrey. The French striker, formerly of Manchester United, has reached an agreement with the Mexican club to join immediately.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the player and the club have already finalised the terms of the contract. AEK Athens, his current club, has authorised the player to travel to undergo medical tests and sign the agreement.
Martial joined the Greek side in the summer of 2024 as a free agent after ending his relationship with Manchester United. During his time in the Greek Super League, he played 24 official matches in all competitions.
Now, after a year in Athens, the striker has opted to seek new horizons in the Americas. In Monterrey, he will join veteran Sergio Ramos, who is also part of the Rayados squad.
