Ex-Madrid defender Jesus Vallejo set to sign for Albacete

Albacete and Jesus Vallejo are about to join forces. The centre-back, in search of redemption after several years in the shadows between Real Madrid and Granada, will play next season in the second division.
'Castilla-La Mancha en Juego' reported the agreement between the two parties and 'AS' confirmed that it will be in the coming days, after it has been certified that his signing complies with the rules of the Financial Fair Play.
Several days ago the Spanish side presented the offer to the centre-back and now, according to the source, he has accepted it. The deal, barring any surprises, will be for two seasons and he will arrive on a free transfer after finishing his contract with Real Madrid.
Vallejo has already visited the city to get a first-hand look at both the offer and the facilities. In the next few days his official signing for Alberto Gonzalez's team will be confirmed.
