Evra joins Marseille from Juventus
The 35-year-old full back had been rumoured to be set for a return to the Premier League, where he played for eight years with Manchester United.
Evra joined Juventus from United in 2014 and had a solid start at the Italian powerhouse but the Turin club had repeatedly hinted that they would allow him to depart in the January transfer window.
The veteran had last played in Ligue 1 with Marseille rivals Monaco, from 2002 through 2006 when he left for Manchester.
