Everton: Winger Yannick Bolasie is expected to return to the squad after recovering from a serious knee injury, but he is likely to be made to do with a place on the bench as boss Sam Allardyce looks to ease him back in. Midfielder James McCarthy is closing in on a return from a thigh problem, but may have to wait until the New Year to feature. Ross Barkley made his much-anticipated return to training this week but he will not be rushed back after hamstring surgery. Leighton Baines (calf), Seamus Coleman (broken leg), Ramiro Funes Mori (knee) and Maarten Stekelenburg (groin) all remain sidelined.
Chelsea: Manager Antonio Conte will be without striker Alvaro Morata after he received his fifth booking of the season for over-celebrating his winner in the Carabao Cup victory over Bournemouth in midweek. Eden Hazard is likely to deputise up-front, whilst defender Marcos Alonso will be available once again after completing a suspension. David Luiz (knee) is Chelsea's only other absentee.
