The centre-back clashed heads with his teammate Gueye and was transported to hospital after six minutes of treatment by pitchside doctors.
Following the incident, Everton released a statement: "Michael Keane has sustained a small hairline fracture of the skull but suffered no other complications."
Keane must now avoid any head contact for three to four weeks, which will mean missing out on all Everton fixtures as well as potentially missing training as well.
The defender had scored earlier in the game, putting his side 2-0 up against the Cherries.
"I will be back with my team and back on the pitch as soon as I can," Keane said via social media.
"I'm OK but suffered a small hairline fracture of the skull, which will heal itself."
