Once again, Pep Guardiola's future at the Man City helm was the topic of the day. After insisting lots that he will stay, media outlets like the 'BBC' and 'The Sun' reported that there was a meeting between the manager and Ferran Soriano to put any doubt to bed.
In this meeting, the Catalan coach apparently wanted to reassure the CEO and guaranteed him that, whatever happens over their CAS appeal, next year he will remain in the City dugout.
What is more, 'Sky Sports' even say he made the following comment: "Whatever league we are in, I will still be here. Even if they put us in League Two, I will still be here. This is a time for sticking together."
At the same time, several names have been linked with the City job if Guardiola does not continue. Mauricio Pochettino is one of those.
