'La Gazzetta Dello Sport' have reported that Juventus are working on a new deal for Adrien Rabiot. Keeping him is thought to bring his salary up to €7 million per year. As he has only got six months left on his contract, Liverpool, Chelsea and Barcelona are all thought to be interested in getting him for nothing.

Adrien Rabiot, who got to the final of the World Cup with the France national side is now an important piece for Juventus, and his contract is up at the end of the season. Therefore, Liverpool, Chelsea and Barcelona have expressed interested in him. They are aware that they could sign him on a free, when normally they would have to pay more than €40 million for him, which is his market value.

According to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', the Juventus board have got to work on a new contract for him. If he accepts, he will go up to earning €7 million per season. Why they want to is clear: to get away from the clubs who are trying to tempt him away from the Serie A, where he has been since 2019-20 after he left PSG.

It is important to stress that they would have to pay another €1 million as a sign on bonus too. What remains unclear is how many season the player would sign for, who is only 27. His age makes one think that his owners are wanting to make him a club stalwart.

In case Rabiot chooses to leave Juventus, he is not short of offers, which is why it is understandable he is taking his time over deciding. What is certain is that he will continue to be a key player at Juventus. That means that he will enjoy plenty of game time probably every weekend and that, at the end of the day, is the goal of most professionals.
