Estevao Willian to join Chelsea after Club World Cup, confirms agent

Estevao Willian will officially join Chelsea after completing his commitments to Palmeiras, including playing in the Club World Cup this summer, his agent Andre Cury has confirmed to AS.

“He will join Chelsea after the Club World Cup. He’s a world-class player. He’s so good, he will make history at Chelsea. PSG and Bayern both also wanted to sign him,” Cury told AS. 

The 17-year-old winger signed for Chelsea in June 2024 for an initial fee of 34 million euros, with add-ons that could increase the total value of the deal.

Estevao will remain at Palmeiras for the Club World Cup, where he could face his new club Chelsea if both clubs progress in the tournament.

Cury highlighted the intense competition for Estevao's signature, noting that several European giants, such as PSG and Bayern Munich, were interested in snapping up the young talent.
