David de Gea has become an icon for the Red Devils. After nine seasons at Old Trafford after leaving Atletico Madrid, the goalkeeper is going through a tough spell in Manchester.
His contract renewal is something he is yet to do and it looks like he will not be signing a new deal anytime soon. In fact, in England they are talking of the possibility of him not wanting to extend his contract.
According to 'The Sun', De Gea has no plans to do so. That would mean the keeper would be free to leave at the end of the season.
An absolute bargain for those teams which are looking for a goalkeeper in the coming months. At 28, De Gea is very close to leaving United.
Another option is for the English club to sell him in January if they cannot persuade him to pen a new deal. That way, they would prevent him leaving on a free.
