England v Croatia - Preview and possible lineups

We take a look ahead to the key Nations League clash between England and Croatia at Wembley.

England: All 25 players took part in England's final training session. Joe Gomez and Luke Shaw could return to the side, with Trippier and Maguire still absent.

Croatia: The big news ahead of the game is the injury of Ivan Rakitic. The Barcelona man is out and has returned to Catalonia for treatment.

Southgate: I think we've learned with every experience that we've had. We've added more depth to the squad in terms of some more young players emerging, more competition for places. We've had a slight change of system which has also added something different, so we've got some flexibility in how we can play. We've obviously played them twice in the last few months. We know their style of play, we know their preferences, the areas that they build up, we know areas that we think we can try to exploit.

Dalic: We totally respect the England team. We learned a lot in both matches. I'm more worried about our team because we played against Spain two days ago. I'll try to get the best from my players. We don't need to be motivated. We play at Wembley, one of the most important stadiums in the world. Maybe the time of the kick-off isn't the best for us but what can we do? We will try to play our best and make a spectacular game. Even a draw would be something fantastic.

Did you know?

Whichever team wins this game will top the group and go through to the next stage of the Nations League.

Should it finish in a draw, Spain will top the group.

Score prediction: 2-0

England possible XI: Pickford, Walker, Stones, Gomez, Shaw, Dier, Barkley, Alli, Sancho, Sterling, Kane

Croatia possible XI: Kalinic, Vrsaljko, Vida, Lovren, Jedvaj, Kovacic, Modric, Brozovic, Perisic, Rebic, Kramaric
