An England fan has been sentenced to ten weeks in jail for sharing a video racially abusing Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford and Bukayo Saka following the EURO 2020 final defeat.
The three footballers missed their penalties in the shootout against the Italian national team, who came on top following Jorginho's decisive penalty.
Jonathan Best, 52 years old, posted an 18-second video verbally abusing the three players and has now been sentenced to prison by the Willesden court. Facebook deleted the video three days after it was published.
Best was sued to the police after a friend of his asked him to delete the video and he refused. Sancho already spoke out on his social media platforms talking about racist insults and hate towards players.
