Emerson, Juventus' strongest alternative at left-back

Juventus will go another year without winning the 'Scudetto', which they won nine consecutive times between 2011 and 2020. Now, their domestic objectives have been limited to the Coppa Italia final against Inter Milan and qualification for the next Champions League.

With the aim of returning to the top of Italian football and to be internationally recognised again, the 'Vecchia Signora' will try to reinforce their squad. The left wing has been one of their weak points and they are already considering some names that could arrive in Turin.

As reported by 'Tuttosport', the Italian club have two profiles that are of interest: Emerson Palmieri and Renan Lodi. Both the man who would return from Lyon to Chelsea in the summer and the Atlético de Madrid player would become starters.

The player who would take the lead to replace Alex Sandro, who finishes his contract in 2023, would be the Chelsea player. Atletico Madrid would be unwilling to sell Lodi, a situation that would push the Juventus side to go for the former Roma player.
