Everything happened after the home side defended a West Ham attack. Mings started to walk towards El Ghazi shouting at him and his teammate did the same. Both ended up coming face to face and starting having a go at each other from point blank range.
The situation ended up becoming so tense that even El Ghazi lightly headbutted his teammate, who started pointing at him while he kept on shouting at him.
In that moment, to avoid things getting out of hand, several Aston Villa players came to separater them and lower the tension. El Ghazi and Mings kept a safe distance once their teammates rushed in and the situation calmed down.
However, it did not end there. The referee came to call for calm. El Ghazi could have been sent off for a headbutt, but he got away with it possibly as it was towards a teammate.
