"There hasn't been contact with Real Madrid. For once, I don't have to say a white lie, because they genuinely haven't contacted us yet. We know them very well," commented Fredi Bobic to 'ESPN'.
In the last few hours, there were reports that Luka Jovic had already sealed a move to Real Madrid, 'AS' announced the agreement, for which Real Madrid have apparently agreed to pay 60 million euros for the young Serbian striker.
Jovic's future has been in the headlines for a while. PSG had shown interest in his services in recent days although Real Madrid look the most likely to sign him.
In fact, Bobic himself declared weeks ago that there was a possibility Jovic would play at the Bernabeu next season. Now he denies it.
