Eibar GK Dimitrovic put Eibar ahead v Atletico Madrid!

We thought we had seen everything in football, but for the first time in a long time, a goalkeeper scored a penalty in La Liga. 

Carrasco fouled Muto in the 9th minute and then Dmitrovic surprised everyone by deciding to take the penalty. He has not taken a penalty in La Liga before. 

He was not nervous at all though. The Serbian kept a cool head and he beat Oblak from 12 yards. The Atleti goalie went to his left while the Eibar keeper hit a left footed penalty into the other corner in the 12th minute. 

Dmitrovic did not even celebrate after scoring it. His teammates were delighted though and they hugged him in the celebration. 

The last keeper to score in La Liga was Dani Aranzubia. The goalkeeper levelled from a corner for Deportivo La Coruna against Almeria in February 2011.

Former Las Palmas goalkeeper Nacho Gonzalez was the last goalkeeper to score from the penalty spot in La Liga. He did so against Athletic Bilbao at San Mames on 3rd March 2002.
