Roma striker Edin Dzeko tested positive for coronavirus in the most recent round of testing. He will miss Roma's game against Genoa, the player confirmed on social media.
He said that he is asymptomatic and will quarantine at home, as stipulated by government requirements. Whilst he is waiting for a negative test, he will train at home so that he can return to Paulo Fonesca's side straight away.
The OMS suggests that people usually have to wait for 14 days for a negative result, but sometimes, as with Achraf, the negative tests can come quicker.
In a statement from the club, Roma said "Fuerza Dzeko!". There are some difficult days to come for both Roma and the striker himself.
