Drogba: 'Cristiano is the best striker in the world'

The Real Madrid forward has scrored 4 goals in 2 games so far in this summer's World Cup, and remains his country's only goal scorer in the tournament so far.

'CR7' proved his star rating with a stunning free-kick to equlaise for his country in a tough first match against Spain, and came up with the decisive goal yet again as his side clinched 3 points against Morocco.

Speaking to the 'BBC', former Chelsea and Ivory Coast striker Drogba said that he believed the Portuguese all-time top scorer is the best in his position.

"He is complete, he can score headers, he can score left foot, right foot, free-kicks and he is always in movement.

"'I think for a defender it's very difficult to defend against a player who is always moving and it's easier for a midfield player to find a guy who is always in movement."

With a variety of world class striking talent on displat at the tournament in Russia such as Sergio Aguero, Antoine Griezmann and Harry Kane, Drogba insisted that the 33 year-old is still the best around.

Ronaldo's Portugal side stand on 4 points in Group B, hoping to progress in to the last 16 of the tournament to try and emulate their win at Euro 2016 with a win against Iran in their final group-stage match.
