Midtjylland aren't willing for their fans to miss the rest of the matches in the Danish league. A method has been invented so that they can go to the stadium to see their team play, but without entering: a drive-through cinema in the car park.
The idea, that isn't a rumour, but a real plan published by the club is based on fans going to the stadium in cars. Giant screens will be set up so that everyone can see the action from their seats while keeping a safe distance from others.
The reason why the club wants its fans to come is that, in this way, they will feel that they are closer to the players even if they are not in the stands. The board plans to test 2,000 of the 12,000 places and, if it works out, will increase them.
Is this legal? Midtjylland informed in their statement that they are already in contact with the city police and health authorities to check if this would be possible. If they give the thumbs up and the fans are encouraged, there could be an extraordinary new method of going to the football.
