Doue says his goal against Villa “better” than Kvaratskhelia's

PSG's young striker Desire Doue, scorer of a lovely goal in his side's 3-1 win over Aston Villa, joked about the beauty of his goal, which he considered better than that of his teammate Kvaratskhelia, both of which hit the top corner of the net past Argentinian goalkeeper Dibu Martinez.

“My goal is better,” the young player joked on official match TV. “We kept the intensity we put into every game, from start to finish, sticking to our plans,” he said.

About his goal, this is what he said, “At first I wanted to cross, but when I saw that I didn't have many options I preferred to shoot at goal and it went in.”

"We know that the second leg remains and that we are going to play it with the same seriousness and with the intention of winning it," Doue concluded.
