One week it is Bayern Munich who have to fight for the three points and another week it is Dortmund who have to do it. Borussia Dortmund won easily in their trip to Freiburg and reduced the gap with Bayern Munich to just one point.
Different to what has been happening recently, this time it was the Bavarians which played first and could put pressure on Dortmund. And the men in yellow did not give in to the pressure.
They took advantage of Freiburg's awful form to win comprehensively 0-4 and stay in the fight for the title for at least another week.
With just four matches left to go, everything seems to indicate that the first team to drop points will lose the title. Bayern have the slight advantage of course.
Against Freiburg, a good play from Reus and Gotze was taken advantage of by Sancho to make it 0-1 early on. There was no further movement in the scoreline until the second half, but that goal allowed Borussia to release tension and display their best football.
After the interval, Reus doubled Dortmund's lead and Gotze sealed it ten minutes from time.
There was still time for Alcacer to score. He did not start and came on late on to score a penalty when he had just been on the pitch for seven minutes.
