Dortmund and Chelsea reach full agreement on desired double move

The summer transfer window is coming to an end, and many teams are still building their squads for the 2025/26 season, which has already begun. One of those teams is Borussia Dortmund. 

The German side has reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign Carney Chukwuemeka, who spent the second half of last season on loan at the Bundesliga club. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Blues have agreed to a permanent transfer for around €25 million. 

In addition, another Blue will accompany Chukwuemeka this season at Signal Iduna Park, as Dortmund has also secured the arrival on loan of Chelsea defender Aaron Anselmino, who will spend 2025/26 with the Black and Yellows and return once the season is over, as the loan does not include an option to buy. 

The Italian journalist has confirmed that both Blues players will undergo medical examinations with the German team on Monday and will be officially announced after that.
