Donnarumma will renew with Milan: "I want to wear this shirt for a long time"

Although it was already confirmed that Milan was going to make a renewal offer to Gianluigi Donnarumma, the player himself, in statements to 'DAZN', made clear that he will say yes. He said that, while his agent and the management close the deal, he will continue to enjoy football.

Donnarumma will soon renew his contract with Milan unless there is a last minute surprise. The club has already clearly shown its intention to expand his contract and he himself, in a statement to 'DAZN', confirmed that he wants to sign and commit himself for several years.

"I want to wear this shirt for a long time, my representative and the club will talk about it; in the meantime, I enjoy this moment," he told the above-mentioned source. This is great news for the 'Rossoneri', as this goalkeeper is among the best in the world, the safest.

His current contract runs until 2021, so there is plenty of time to reach an agreement. If he wants to leave, which he does not, he could start negotiating with other teams from January onwards, so ideally he would agree sooner so that he does not get any juicy offers that might cloud his judgement.

When his renewal is official, the goalkeeper will be confirmed as one of those 'one club men'. At the moment, he has never played for any club other than the Rossoneri, where he made the leap to the first team, to Serie A and to fame. The Donnarumma-Milan association works.
